How Find Strategies in SWOT ?

What is Strategy and Strategic Management ?
Strategy can be defined as the determination of basic long term goals and objectives of an enterprise and the adoption of courses of action and allocation resources for carrying out these goals. In simple words a strategy is a set of course of actions that can improve the current situation and improve the condition and give a new competitive advantages to an organization. In definition we have course of actions , it means it is different with gradual programs , strategy starts and finish in duration but programs and budgets are designed year by year.
Strategic Management or Strategic planning can be defined as  the process of deciding on the objectives of an organization ,use and disposition of these resources , it is a managerial process in organization through which future impact of changes is determined and current decision are taken to reach a designed future.


Current situation to desired situation
The main result of a strategy is changing form current situation (bad or not desired) to desired (best or better) situation. While programs are improving step by step and has small effects on conditions , strategies can move ten step in one days or moment .

Strategies in SWOT 
Before we discussed about SWOT analysis  for an institution , now we have a different view to the SWOT diagram and SWOT analysis . A SWOT diagram can be like figure below :

We can write Strengths , Weakness , Opportunities , Threats in tabular form and in cross points we can find new strategies . But there are other guidelines to Strategic Management to find the strategies . Another view to the SWOT diagram gives us a better understanding of S, W , O ,T and and helps to find strategies better in SWOT .

As like other SWOT analysis we have Internal and External factors and four parts are appeared.

1. Aggressive Strategies : 
We select aggressive strategies when we have strengths and opportunities in market . In other hand  tapping the market is easy  , an example is Google in nowadays, starts a new strategy in market based on  new Google policies to gain more opportunities.

2.Turnaround Strategies: 
In market we have this situation , that we don't have power but there are opportunities to survive . The main objectives is to use opportunities for conversion Weaknesses to Strengths.
We can see Turnaround strategies in recent political situation . For example North Korea leaved nuclear programs and started new political way last week.

3. Diversification Strategies: 
Diversification strategies are based on the powers and threats of organization , in other hand a company like Microsoft started Bing search engine to diversify its products and find new market opportunities .

4.Defensive Strategies:  
Defensive strategies are based on the worst condition that an organization is . This organization tries to avoid threats and cover the weaknesses . For example a company like Kingfisher Airlines has many competitors and also the financial problems surround this company .
